Tim Kyle
Chief Transformation Officer at Techcombank (TCB)
I consider him to be a seasoned and mature culture change agent, with an impeccable track record of being a self-starter at incubating and managing large scale change, with specialization in Finance.
I would also highlight my observation of Anand having the right level of EQ to build solid relationships across the organization in a way that can help him to steer his work agenda effectively. This is particularly evident in the masterful way he engaged the TCB finance team at the outset as he crafted our Fonance change programs, he really took lengths to win the hearts and minds and make them an inclusive part of the journey. Which is as it should be. But many fail to do that, or have the EQ chops to do it well. Anand did a superb job of engaging and motivating the Finance team to take on new transformational challenges and a comprehensive agenda of change.
During his stint in Techcombank, he has impressed me and other senior members of the management with his professionalism, clarity of thought and expression. I would have no hesitation in welcoming Anand back to the team and working with him again.

Director of Accounting, Financial Policy and Tax at Techcombank (TCB)
He had strong experience on Finance operation transformation at HSBC and of course it is very usefull for Techcombank Finance transformation.
He with rich international experience brings a lot of useful things to Techcombank. He has so many strengths that I am always happy to work with him.
He has strong ability to adapt and solve problems. Moving from a global bank, being able to transfer the knowledge and experience gained to a local bank is not easy, not because you are not good but how to make your staffs, colleagues in a new place can absorb, keep up with your footsteps, the transformation journey will be successful.
Anand is very good at simplifying things, I enjoy working with him, instead of making things complicated he can always make it simpler, more focused to get the most out of it, determined to match the capacity of the place he comes from. You will be very unrealistic if you want to do something too big and complicated for their level of development. They see you as delusional.
It was because of his ability to simplify matters with clear, coherent thinking that Anand was able to take our transformation program after many years of great initial strides.
Adapting to suit how the work can be done is also another point that I enjoyed working with him. The difference in corporate culture in each company, each country will be an invisible barrier that you will encounter if you do not make appropriate adjustments to adapt. You can not require the same level of development between a developed country like Europe, the US or Singapore and a developing country like Vietnam. TCB hired the many experts coming to work from developed countries and of course they forced to adjust themself when working here. I find Anand to do this very well and it is also an important reason for him to be able to accelerate the transformation of TCB Finance step by step. Although he is a very agressive person, he is a very good listener and has since found the right method to help TCB Finance’s transformation projects run. He created a very good net work after a very short time working at Techcombank.
He is one of the most effective expats I have ever worked with during my 20 years experiences in the Vietnamese banking industry, which also helps me to learn a lot of international experience from him.

SVP / Head – Finance Transformation for Continental Europe at HSBC
Anand has an ability to detect a need for a change, understand its direction and execute at pace to reach it. His focus is always on achieving positive outcomes at an organisational level and he usually acts as a ‘North Star’ for his teams and his colleagues to help them navigate towards achieving the desired outcome – in the right spirit and way.
One of Anand’s absolute strengths is to take complex organisational problems and break them down at a molecular level, not only find solutions to them, but also to rally understanding and engagement across the larger stakeholder community across the organisation.
He Is a very strong communicator and gives tremendous importance to regular and effective engagement with all his stakeholder through creative yet effective content and channels
Anand sets ambitious goals for himself and his teams and focusses on setting a high performance culture within the teams he leads. This encourages individuals to focus on achieving outcomes in the right way, hone talent and develop skills through a varied set of assignments and exposure.
Anand’s strong work ethic and bouquet of skills makes him an immediate positive influence to any space that he is a part of. Wishing you all the best in what you choose to be a part of in the future.

Head of Sales & Business Development – APAC at Xceptor
He is well organized, always on time, focused on actionable items and able to quickly determine what steps are required to move projects forward. His approach is outcome oriented yet he does not lose sight of the big picture. He is able to navigate the complexities of large organisations and, in particular, bring on board all relevant stakeholders who are impacted by change/transformation programmes.
He is an inspirational leader who can rally his troops and ensure they drive projects forward with tenacity and professionalism.
Anand always behaves fairly and respectfully. His ability to strike a lighter note when needed and his wide range of interests outside of the professional environment make people naturally gravitate towards him.
I would recommend him any time as an employee, manager/leader, and friend!
